Vessel

** Vessel original is a 40x30 acrylic and texture medium in gallery wrapped canvas. This painting has  magical, iridescent shimmering through the water and sky lights. In contrast, the rock formations have a rough, raw ,and earthy texture.  The mother and child connection is not bound by time or space.  She will always have them with her even in their ‘spirit state’ 🤍 she is their vessel..
She can enter unseen layers and connect with the child through love and grit.  Only she can go on that journey.  The ends of the earth or the moon and back… there is no distance too far or place too deep that a mother couldn’t reach.  It is a subtle power that was innately instilled within our being.  The mother  gives so much of her own energy and life force to nurture and protect their children but it brings a deep peace to see them thrive.  It’s a gift all mothers were given to secure a timeless connection with their children. With this image I intended to celebrate and honor the sacred relationship between a mother and child. It is sacred.
