Breakthrough

Breakthrough original is on a 12x12 gallery wrapped canvas.  I used acrylic paint and ink with a touch of pearl texture in the flowers.  I used a gold leafing pen for the sun and in the white flowers for a reflective effect.  This image is full of flowers in bloom, a radiant sun and a horse running free.  There is a lot we go through before we have a breakthrough and life comes together in a new way.  It takes courage and trust to find yourself shining in the sun after a struggle.  This is an image of celebration and hope.  This little poem came to me upon completion…
I found a way
Through the weeds and thorns
Step by step 
New life in me being born
It was dark, night lasted forever 
Moments of unbearable pressure
Nothing to hold on to
Pushing through
Glimmer of light passed by, then another
I could hear my heart 
And I could feel its thunder
… I had found a way 
New beginning slowly coming into view.
It is My breakthrough ✨
